HEDIS Specialist

Under the direction of the HEDIS Program Manager, supports the annual HEDIS project management by coordinating the identification, collection and abstraction of medical records and other data in collaboration with other HEDIS staff.

Responsibilities:

• Sending out fax requests for medical records.
•  Receiving medical records via fax or mail, filing, scanning, and uploading medical records.
•  Basic medical retrieval calling into offices or driving to provider offices to pick up records. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with PC-based systems and the ability to learn new information systems and software programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HEDIS experience, facilitation experience, provider outreach experience, ability to multi-task, owning and accountable for provider sites.
