ServiceNow Engineering Co-op

About RapDev:

RapDev builds the operational backbone for autonomous IT. More than 1,000 enterprises run ServiceNow and Datadog better because of us — trusted data, connected workflows, and AI that resolves incidents instead of just reporting them.

On the ServiceNow side of our business, we specialize in modern ITOM, ITAM, AI, SPM, and DevOps implementations designed to help organizations engineer their ServiceNow into a powerful AI-driven platform. And on the Datadog side of our business, our experienced team of SREs and DevOps engineers drive better observability, availability, and deployment velocity for organizations looking to drive measurable business impact through their Datadog environment.

ServiceNow Engineering Intern (Part-Time)

About the Role

Want to break into enterprise software while you're still in school? RapDev is looking for current Computer Science (or related) students who want real hands-on experience with ServiceNow — one of the fastest-growing platforms in enterprise tech. This is a part-time internship (10-15 hours/week) built around your class schedule, where you'll learn directly from experienced developers and architects while working on actual customer projects.

No prior ServiceNow experience needed. We'll teach you the platform from the ground up — you just need to bring curiosity, solid programming fundamentals, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

• Go through RapDev's ServiceNow training program and work toward certifications

• Sharpen your JavaScript skills in a real enterprise setting

• Sit in on customer meetings and sprint demos to see how projects actually run

• Get mentorship while configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications

• Write and test scripts (business rules, client scripts, UI policies, etc.)

• Help troubleshoot configuration issues alongside the team

• Join our internal SCRUM calls and share your ideas

• Keep a running log of what you're learning and where you're getting stuck (this helps us help you)

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field

• Comfortable with programming fundamentals, especially JavaScript

• Genuinely curious about new tech and enjoys solving problems

• Communicates well and works well with others

• Able to work onsite and be part of the team in person

• Interested in sticking around and growing in the ServiceNow world long-term

Nice-to-Haves (not required, just a bonus)

• Any exposure to ServiceNow or other enterprise platforms

• Experience with REST APIs or scripting outside of class projects

• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM

What You'll Walk Away With

• Real, resume-worthy experience on a major enterprise platform

• Direct mentorship from senior engineers and architects

• A clear path toward a full-time ServiceNow Engineer role after graduation

• The chance to contribute to real projects early — not just fetch coffee
