Data Engineer

The Opportunity:

A well‑architected, fully secured data ecosystem is essential for enabling the Department of War (DoW) to execute its mission with precision, speed, and resilience. As a Database Engineer specializing in Zero Trust, you serve as a critical technical leader ensuring that enterprise and mission‑critical data systems remain secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving operational demands.

As a Zero Trust Database Engineer, you play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and operationalization of secure data architectures that enable mission systems to operate with confidence even under contested or degraded conditions. Your work strengthens the DoW’s ability to defend, detect, and respond across the full spectrum of operations while advancing the department’s long‑term modernization strategy.

This position places you at the intersection of data engineering, cybersecurity, and mission readiness, offering the opportunity to shape the future of secure data operations while continuously expanding your technical mastery.
