At AECOM, our diverse Town Planning team is seeking an experienced Principal Planning Consultant to join our busy Environment business in Ireland. We are looking to expand our Town Planning team in our Dublin or Cork offices, with a flexible hybrid working model.

Our team has an impressive portfolio of experience delivering major linear infrastructure projects, and we are currently supporting multiple planning applications across a diverse range of sectors, including rail, water, transport, data centres, electricity transmission and thermal generation.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Planning Applications – Prepare, submit and manage planning applications, including the coordination of supported technical and environmental inputs and liaison with key stakeholders.
• Due Diligence – Undertake due diligence, site reviews and pre-application discussions on major proposals, being proactive and problem-solving to achieve deliverable outcomes.
• Planning Advice – Provide technical planning advice to ensure planning and project documentation meets regulatory standards and reflects current legislation, policy and case law.
• Tendering – Lead and support commercially competitive tender proposals and bids.
