You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Consultant within our Infrastructure business, working as part of our Cost Assurance team to support clients in reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs and identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and project outcomes across major programs and projects. This is a 12 months fixed-term opportunity.
The main purpose of the role is to:
- Support the delivery of Cost Assurance commissions for a range of infrastructure clients.
- Assist in the review and assessment of project costs, contractor submissions, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze construction contracts and commercial arrangements, including Design-Build, Alliance, NEC, and other procurement models.
- Perform testing and validation of cost data using analytical techniques and tools, including data visualization and trend analysis.
- Support the preparation of clear, concise, and professional client reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations.
- Develop an understanding of cost entitlement, contract compliance, and financial controls within large capital projects.
- Build effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders through professionalism and collaboration.
- Collaborate with team members across disciplines to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Cost Assurance methodologies, tools, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Stay informed of industry best practices, market trends, and emerging technologies relevant to cost assurance and infrastructure delivery.
- Support senior team members in the delivery of complex reviews and client engagements.
