Your Role & Responsibilities
- You will be ready to take the next step in your career, delivering and coordinating design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.
- Manage and lead on a diverse range of major Infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet AECOM quality standards and are managed effectively to time and budget.
- Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team, interrogating outputs from other disciplines (e.g., drainage, structures, environmental).
- Work directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, guiding them through technical challenges.
- Support and coach junior engineers, contributing to AECOM’s culture of growth and continuous learning.
- Lead, manage, and mentor project teams in the delivery of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and quality outcomes.
- Oversee the preparation of project documentation, technical reports, and design submissions in accordance with Irish and European standards.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
- Drive the development of planning applications, tender documentation, and construction supervision activities.
- Conduct and review site inspections, surveys, and technical assessments to inform design and construction processes.
- Ensure robust compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout all project phases.
- Support resource planning, programme management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in and lead multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert technical guidance and input.
- Champion innovation, sustainability, and digital delivery across all projects
