Provide a full range of cost consulting services to new and existing clients. This involves a deep technical understanding of market conditions and construction estimation at all levels.
Review and validate cost estimates across all real estate sectors
Lead the cost management scope of works on projects including estimate preparation, reviews, budget checks, benchmarking, value engineering, procurement advice, bid levelling, contract award recommendation and post contract commercial experience such as payment certification, cash flow forecasting, change management and cost reporting
Undertake QA/QC reviews of deliverables
Lead external meetings with clients and other third parties
Provide advice to clients about cost estimates and other cost related topics including market trends and cost related impacts.
Have a good understanding of construction contracts and procurement methodologies
Lead the development of Proposals, Bids & Tenders.
Manage internal resourcing for effective project delivery management.
Effectively manage and control commissions.
Mentor, lead and develop staff within the Cost Management team
Partake in development initiatives to improve status quo. Drive continuous improvement of cost management processes and procedures.
Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
Attending relevant networking events and other promotional opportunities
