We are looking for a Engineer, Traffic in our Salt Lake City, UT office.
The Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)
- Leads design of traffic engineering projects or traffic design tasks under larger projects
- Prepares plans for signing/striping, lighting, traffic signals, ITS, and intersections
- Prepares plans for Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) for large-design build projects
- Basic traffic simulation/modeling using HCS, SYNCHRO, CORSIM and VISSIM
- Prepares traffic impact analysis and other related traffic reports
- Review construction plans, design calculations, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure completeness, accuracy, constructability, and conformity to local standards or best engineering practices.
- Strong report writing skills
- Be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control through the development and review of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Responsible for preparing project reports and feasibility studies.
- Be a team player who could work with all staff levels.
- Lead aspects of project pursuit teams and participate in the development of a project proposal and/or interview.
