Manage aspects of quantity surveying and cost consultancy including pre and post contract duties
Produce cost estimates
Manage the tender process, review and analyse tender returns and prepare recommendations to the client as well as advice on procurement routes
Role will be two stage procurement using NEC4
Attend meetings, prepare financial reports and monitor the status of projects
Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place
Knowledge and understanding of value engineering
Ensure the project remains on budget from design to completion phase
Full post contract duties including establishing the effect of variations and evaluating and negotiating final account settlements
Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, maintaining the highest standards of professional competence at all times
Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
Support junior team members to deliver our cost management service efficiently and effectively
