About the role
Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced MEP Technical Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight of MEP design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
- Review and coordinate MEP designs, specifications, calculations, and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with project objectives and industry standards.
- Monitor project performance, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities while implementing effective mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, technical workshops, design reviews, and project status discussions.
- Oversee project budgets, cost forecasts, change management, and financial reporting for MEP-related scopes.
- Support procurement and contractor management activities, including bid evaluations, technical reviews, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, sustainability standards, and client specifications.
- Drive commissioning, testing, startup, closeout, and turnover activities to ensure successful project delivery and operational readiness.
