During this internship, you will gain an in-depth insight into the development of acceleration sensors, which are silicon-based micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS). You will be actively involved in developing our newest sensor generation, regularly tackling project-related tasks.
As part of this assignment you will build experience in sensors, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC) as well as in the corresponding measurement technology including the introduction to the current state of the art.
You will have the opportunity to actively participate in planning and implementing experiments, conducting simulations, analyzing big data, and applying machine learning. This will include automating measurements and measurement technology.
Finally, you will be responsible for presenting your experimental results and evaluations concerning the performance of prototypes or high-volume types to the development team.
