Our national Building Engineering team are looking for experienced Project / Design Leaders to join our team. These roles would suit experienced building services professionals who have developed strong experience across design management and project management.
You’ll bring a technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Hydraulic or another Building Engineering discipline, combined with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from both a design and commercial perspective. You’ll work closely with our clients, technical leaders and project teams to define scope, manage change and deliver high-quality outcomes across some of our major projects.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, coordinating Building Engineering disciplines and wider project teams to deliver design solutions from project inception through to delivery.
- Work with clients to understand needs, interpret requirements to allow our engineers to develop solutions, document design assumptions and risks.
- Take ownership of design management, including defining scope, coordinating technical inputs, managing interfaces and leading design reviews to ensure the design meets client requirements, programme and project objectives.
- Manage project delivery across programme, financial performance, resourcing, financial governance, identifying and managing scope changes, risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing practical advice, managing expectations and working with Project Directors, Technical Directors, Design Managers and discipline leads to resolve project and technical challenges.
- Contribute to the growth of the Building Engineering business through client engagement, proposals and work-winning activities, bringing your technical and project experience to help develop new opportunities.
