Entry-Level Traffic Engineer - Hiring Event with AECOM - Arlington, VA

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Arlington on November 18th and 19th. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.

The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Traffic Engineer to be based in Hunt Valley, MD.

This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct traffic engineering analysis under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic traffic engineering and transportation planning problems.
• Conduct fieldwork such as traffic counts and site visits.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, maps, websites, or other documentation to support findings and decision-making.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers to solve transportation challenges.
