The Program Controls Manager bears the following crucial responsibilities:
- Assumes oversight of program controls-related activities for medium-sized programs or specialized defined controls elements of larger programs, providing critical support to the Program Manager or Program Controls Director.
- Spearheads coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program, ensuring strict alignment with overarching program objectives.
- Meticulously identifies and addresses interdependencies between projects, proactively mitigating risks and resolving conflicts to maintain program integrity.
- Engages in strategic collaboration with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
- Maintains close working relationships with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives with precision.
- Provides authoritative guidance and rigorous oversight to project controls teams, ensuring effective management of individual project elements.
- Conducts thorough monitoring and evaluation of risk mitigation strategies to ensure their efficacy and implement necessary adjustments.
